A Couple Of Few Things Before Kickoff in the Steel City

Written by: Manny Barrios of Trash Talk Sports
With Jet’s All-Pro CB Darrelle Revis being held out of this Sunday’s showdown against the Pittsburgh Steeler’s due to a concussion, it’s Kyle Wilson who will start opposite of Antonio Cromartie.
The loss of Revis may prove costly as the Jets secondary will have the tall task of containing explosive wide outs Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown. Though they are without their best defensive player Head Coach Rex Ryan remained confident that his replacement Kyle Wilson will get the job done. He more than likely will find his hands full with Antonio Brown for much of the afternoon.
TE Dustin Keller, who re-aggravated a preseason hamstring injury will also be absent on this road trip. And although he was a non factor in week 1’s win over the Bills Keller still draws a double team at times as he too can be a problem for opposing defenses. The Jets signed TE Dedrick Epps, a 2011 practice squad member, to replace Keller n the roster for week 2.
Finally, amongst the starters, LB Bryan Thomas will also be absent from lineup due to Hamstring issues as well. Talk about limping in somewhere. Garrett Mckntyre will fill in for Thomas.
Also sidelined with injury is G Dennis Landot(knee). And questionable are FB John Conner(knee) and CB Isaih Trufant(ankle).
